Photography Made Simple With The Canon EOS Rebel 2000

By Frank Smith

The Canon EOS Rebel 2000 is a great camera to use when you want to get the best pictures. The are many tips that can help you to be able to get the results that you want. One of these is that you should make sure that you have a clean lens even though you probably feel like this one is not necessary, it is since this is most common photography mistake made.

The manual is a necessary choice in reading material prior to using the camera. You will need to do this for a variety of reasons but the main one is to be able to understand how to work your camera. It is not even something that takes a long time so you are not going to be spending more than a couple of hours doing it. Plus you will realize quickly that the time that you invested was well worth it.

Now you are ready to start taking pictures but you have to first make sure that your subject is in the right spot. Placement is important because it can set the entire mood and tone of the shot. Also you should be aware of the framing which can instantly improve any shot.

The next thing that you need to have a conscious awareness of is the lighting. Whether or not you are going to use the flash is also something that you should know. Plus being able to control the exposure or shutter speed on your own is something that can help too.

If you have a desire to get a better shot then you might want to improve your understanding of shutter speeds, depth of field, and exposure. These can offer a new creative edge to the same old shot. Lighting is also essential so you should know how to use artificial lighting to create natural looking light or use natural lighting well.

Setting the zoom lens to be about as powerful as natural eyesight is a must. So a 50 mm zoom setting is typically what will help you to get the best photograph. There should also be choices so make sure that you are shooing both vertical and horizontal.

When you are out running around doing the things that you need to do then you should make sure that your Canon EOS Rebel 2000 is available to you. Natural pictures are more desired and you can get these easier by having the camera on you at all times. Smiling is another great tip as it helps those that you are photographing to smile with you.

Elements Editing Program - 10 Years Old And Better Than Ever

By David Peters

Adobe Elements is now 10 years old. Thinking about an over-impressive version, it's not astonishing when Adobe often struggled to improve it each year. The last update is the exception, with Layer masks disclose lots of advanced technology and Guide mode aids typical users attain complex effects by taking advantage of resulting wizards. Can version ten keep this pace?

The number of new features comes out in Organize module. Object Search allows users to specify an item in the image, while it scans the other gallery to find examples of the same object. It's only theory though. We let it scan 37000 pictures in our gallery, but after a lot hours of importing and making lists (and changed all files, stopped our raising back-up route), it could not bring any suitable images. There are some other strategies to search and filter photos, but there're no containing folder names - a vital shortage.

The face protection shown in version eight has been enhanced by the integration with Facebook; download friends' names to link tagged uploads to their Facebook accounts. It's a fantastic feature, but it does not know that family members often have the same surname.

Organizer has a few excellent qualities but it cannot compete with Google Picasa - faster and more efficient. Nevertheless, you may use Picasa for managing your photos and Adobe Photoshop Elements for editing - that they can do best. When editing color tools of Picasa are basic and Raw processing is fairly poor, Adobe Photoshop Elements is great at both.

Most improvements for main programs are the extension of existing features. Smart Brush Tool has much more brushes, apply the complex process such as colour tints, oil pastel effect and rain effect by simple brushes.

Guided Tab consists of lots of new tasks, such as focus slightly or polaroid appearance for a photo. Our favorite among new inclusion is Depth of Field, which blurs the image while keeping selected areas sharp - it's helpful skill to imitate the shallow depth of field of SLR.

We had a problem to edit the area we wish to keep the sharpness by using Quick Selection, an option bringing us to Lasso tool will improve. People who know how to use Layer masks can change the results with any tools they select, but as Guided mode exists in its own field, it does not illustrate how techniques are used to modify or transfer to other tasks.

Now you may make the text follow in a curve. It includes drawing a curve and typing, and the curve could be edited later by dragging the nodes. The text may take the edge of simple shapes like ellipse and triangle, or an area you can choose with Quick Selection brush. However, characters that follow too closely the selection, while curves tighten in hand-made strokes, make letters stick to one another and become hard to read, and there's no control to delete spaces to fix this problem.

This isn't the must have update for version 9, and if users think about the upgrade fee - '69 of Photoshop, they should stop. Nonetheless, it is not weaker than version 9. To edit photographs, nothing else in this price can compare with Adobe Photoshop Elements about its power and accuracy and it is interesting to use, therefore it deserves one more Best Buy Award.
