I first bought my apple computer back in 2008. I knew nothing at all about apple the company or their computers. While shopping at best buy, i came across some apple computers. The sales representative came up as i was glancing over the broad selection of laptops. The sales man inquired what computer i was most interested in. At that time i knew very little about computers. I wasn't really sure what i wanted, so he showed me the mac book display. I really like the laptop but when i saw the price, i wanted to faint. They cost 2 to 3 times the price of your average PC laptop, but then he explained why.
When you buy a mac book, you are getting one of the best working laptops made. These laptops work very efficient, handling many task at once without slowing down or freezing. There operating system is very secure, never allowing your computer to get a virus. Ever since i have owned a mac, i have never had to buy any anti-adware software. It's pretty difficult for mac books to get a virus. The only issue i have found is some software won't work very well on macs. Many times though they will have alternate ways of running these programs.
Recently i got another PC computer to properly run some software programs i have. I was utterly disappointed. I really enjoyed windows 7, but the computer is awful. The device is a brand new 2012 Acer laptop. My old mac book completely destroys the new Acer device. I was utterly disappointed in with Acer and their new device. I'm not saying all PC laptops are bad, but Acer sure does make an awful bad one. So my advice to anybody reading this is do your research before you buy your next computer. Read reviews and see for yourself what computer is right for you.
I actually got another opportunity at trying a PC laptop. I was able to tryout a Samsung series 7, another brand new device. This device was a million times better than the Acer i tried. The battery life was very good. I used it for for over 5 hours and still had plenty of battery life left. I also really enjoyed the touch pad they made for it. If you pressed on the right corner, it would perform a right click action like a normal mouse would. With clicking the middle or left side would create the action a normal touch pad would have. I also enjoyed the new windows explorer. It had multiple new features that i hadn't tried. I don't have any complaints to make about this device. It would perform everything task you wanted effortlessly. It has a 8-cell lithium-polymer battery, and 8 GB of ram. What makes it such a steal is it's price, You can get it for under 1000 dollars. Try looking on best buy for more details.
Cell phone companies have been in the news here lately. Apple and at&t have been using some monitoring software. Apparently some of their software that was suppose to only gather signal data and related information picked up some text messages. This software of theirs began to resemble text monitoring software. Both At&t and apple are currently engaged in lawsuits with over 60 cell phone users who were able to find this software on their devices. I guess people don't like having their text messages stolen from their phones. It was like having text message monitoring software put on their phones.
