Andy Warhol paintings include a series of digital artworks made on an Amiga 1000 in the mid-1980s. Amiga 1000 is a personal computer created by the Commodore International. Andy created a few public pieces as part of a marketing campaign. It is not known if he made additional digital artworks on his own time.
It has just been discovered that Andy actually did. A treasure trove of never-before-seen Andy Warhol paintings have been uncovered stashed away on dozens of unlabeled floppy disks. Putting his entire life savings into the printing of his first lithograph was not a problem for Thomas Kinkade even if it was at the very beginning of his artistic career. The inspiration for the Thomas Kinkade paintings did not come from a desire for fame and fortune. The inspiration came from the simple act of painting that comes out straight from the heart. Thomas needed to put on canvas the wonders and images of nature that caught his fancy the most.
